BLEACHING EARTH
High absorption capacity, excellent bleaching properties
Bleaching earth is a fossil kaolin clay, whose structure is very porous. This product is therefore able to absorb all kinds of substances, such as oil, insecticide and hydrocarbons. Activated bleaching earth is often used for bleaching oils. Bleaching earth can be activated with sulfuric acid, which improves the internal surface and structure. Due to its excellent absorption properties, but inferior filtration properties, bleaching earth is often used along with perlite or diatomaceous earth.
We supply two types of diatomaceous earth, which have been developed especially for the vegetable oil industry. The C545VO and the Celite Cynersorb.
