Service Engineer (Mechanic)

Are you the all-round technician who enjoys working independently? With us, you’ll work as an engineer in the workshop, reading technical drawings and installing wear plates in, for example, pipelines or the bunker currently in the workshop. Additionally, you’ll spend a lot of time at our clients’ locations for assembly and sealing, involving welding or steelwork. In short, a highly diverse role across various industries.

What will you be doing:

As a technical employee, you’ll work on reading technical drawings and installing wear plates, for example, in pipelines or bunkers. Each customer requires specific dimensions and processing, and we excel in that. We provide customized service with extensive and distinctive customer-oriented service.

In collaboration with your colleagues, you’ll ensure a qualitative and high-quality installation, repair, and maintenance of our expansion joints and/or wear-resistant solutions at our customers in various industries (e.g., steel production, (petro-)chemistry, energy). Additionally, you’ll brainstorm with the customer and ensure the best possible solution. With the team, you’ll ensure that our existing and new customers receive the excellent experience and service they have come to expect from Profiltra since 1941.

Your tasks as a service engineer include:

• Installing and uninstalling our products at our manufacturing industry clients, sometimes for multiple days
• Processing the products in our workshop in Almere when you’re not at the customer’s site
• Advising customers and companies on-site, searching for the best solution in consultation with the sales department

Our ideal candidate:

• Has MBO thinking and working level, is technically skilled, practical minded, proactive, customer-oriented, communication skills and works well independently and in a team.
• Holds a VCA-certificate (preferred) and a valid driver’s license (B)
• Has comparable technical experience
  (demonstrated by your education and/or work experience)
• Lives within a 30 km radius of Almere Tussen de Vaarten
• Is available full-time and flexible (occasional weekend work)
• Is proficient in both spoken and written Dutch and English
