processes and industrial installations where thermal insulation, heat resistance and installation protection are important.<\/p><p>Within the range, different types of refractory bricks are available for a wide range of temperature and process conditions.<\/p><p><strong>Insulating bricks for high temperatures<\/strong><\/p><p>Refractory insulating bricks combine a high insulation value with low heat storage and good mechanical properties.<br><\/p><p>Depending on the material and version, the materials are resistant to temperatures up to approximately 1800 \u00b0C.<br><\/p><p>In addition, the bricks offer good resistance to gas permeability.<\/p><p><strong>Dense refractory bricks for heavy-duty applications<\/strong><\/p><p>Dense refractory bricks are used within installations exposed to extreme mechanical, chemical or thermal loads.<br><\/p><p>The materials are used within, among others, the (petro)chemical industry and other applications involving high mechanical loads or corrosive \u00b0C.<\/p><p><strong>Special shapes and customisation possible<\/strong><\/p><p>Refractory bricks are available in standard sizes and can also be custom machined.<br><\/p><p>Special shapes and combined versions are also possible depending on the application and installation conditions.<\/p><p><strong>Mortars for installation and bonding of refractory bricks<\/strong><\/p><p>Profiltra supplies Blakite mortar for bonding refractory bricks.<\/p><p>The mortar is resistant to temperatures up to 1760 \u00b0C and is available in 20 kg
