Modular sealing systems and installation conditions
Modular seals for pipe and cable penetrations
Link-Seals are used for sealing pipe and cable penetrations within industrial installations and infrastructure.
The modular sealing systems provide a gas-tight and watertight hydrostatic seal around pipes and cables in wall, floor and wall sleeve penetrations.
The systems are suitable for applications involving, among others, steel, cast iron, copper and plastic pipes and cables.
Suitable for new-build and retrofit
Link-Seals can be applied in both drilled and cast penetrations.
In addition, the systems can also be installed retrospectively within existing installations and structures. This makes them suitable for both new-build projects and retrofit applications.
Reliable sealing under a wide range of conditions
The sealing systems are designed for applications where reliability under a wide range of process conditions is required.
Depending on the version, solutions are available with resistance to pressure, temperature, vibrations and different media. In addition, the systems can absorb misalignments and limited movements within piping systems.
Resistance, installation and industrial applications
Different versions for different media
Depending on the application, different versions are available for, among others:
- Water
- Oil and fuels
- Chemicals
- Solvents
- High temperatures
In addition, specific versions are available for applications where additional chemical or thermal resistance is required.
Simple and safe installation
Due to the modular construction, Link-Seals can be installed relatively easily.
The systems can be safely installed from the inside of walls and contribute to efficient installation of pipe and cable penetrations. In addition, labour costs can be reduced compared to traditional sealing systems.
Developed for industrial applications
Link-Seals are used within a wide range of industrial environments and infrastructure projects, including:
- Water treatment
- Industry
- Petrochemicals
- Tank terminals
- Utilities
- Civil infrastructure
