Pipe positioning and structural protection
Insulators for pipe positioning within wall sleeves
Insulators are used for centring and positioning medium-carrying pipes within wall sleeves.
The systems ensure that the pipe remains separated from the wall sleeve and contribute to a controlled and reliable pipe penetration within industrial installations and infrastructure.
Protection against damage and wear
Due to the low friction coefficient of the insulators, friction between the pipe and wall sleeve is kept to a minimum.
This prevents the medium-carrying pipe from causing damage to the inside of the wall sleeve during installation and operation.
In addition, the systems contribute to a longer service life of piping constructions.
Different materials and versions
Insulators are available in different materials, including:
- Polyethylene
- Arnite®
- Glass fibre reinforced versions
Depending on the application and load, different versions can be selected. In addition, custom solutions are also available for project-specific applications.
Insulation, installation and piping applications
Support of cathodic protection
The plastic insulators feature excellent insulating properties and support applications where cathodic protection of the pipe is important.
This prevents electrical contact between the pipe and the wall sleeve.
Easy installation and reliable positioning
Insulators are characterised by simple installation and reliable centring of pipes within wall sleeves.
Due to the availability of different skid heights, the medium-carrying pipe can be positioned centrally within the casing pipe.
Suitable for a wide range of piping constructions
Insulators are used within a wide range of industrial piping constructions and infrastructure projects, including applications within industry, petrochemicals, tank terminals and civil infrastructure.
